The following episode of The Golden Spotlight aired on Monday July 16 2018 at California State University Long Beach . Rob Flores for the second time conducted his experiment where he steps back from being a host to producer and invited Ethan Ortiz to be Take Over Edition Host for the second time to conduct an interview with that week’s guest. Returning to the studio was guest Long Beach Activist John Kindred who showed dedication to visit the campus walking with a crutch to get to be on the college radio show. He spoke about a variety of subjects including climate change, his efforts to help the community and how once he was placed in jail for three days, life growing up and much more .
